The challenge for E&Ps in unconventional fields is the same as always:
How do you balance the risk of poor well production with the cost of gathering data to improve production? If information on a well’s completion strategy effectiveness were free, operators would gather data on every well to continuously hone their field development plans. Unfortunately, developing unconventional resources has shown that conventional practices are insufficient to deliver superior operational and financial performance.

New technology and methods of integrating data sets improve reservoir understanding by reducing the underlying uncertainty. Kash has more than 25 years experience in solving technology and business challenges. Before joining Reveal Energy Services in October 2016, Kash was VP of Engineering at MicroSeismic, Inc. where he supervised the commercialization of technology that quantifies unconventional well production behavior using microseismic data. At Silixa, he contributed to strategy development and implementation.

During his 20 years at Schlumberger, he had leading technology, operations, and business development roles. Kash holds several patents, in addition to authoring and coauthoring numerous technical articles.
